What is it about?
Surface roughness is one of the most desired requirement for the modern machining process. Ball-end milling has a complex geometry in which geometry of cutting edge changes with change in cutting parameters. In this paper, we have modeled surface roughness using RSM and optimal set of cutting parameters has been determined by comparing the results of TLBO and composite desirability.

Why is it important?
Optimization technique TLBO has provided accurate results with less efforts.
