What is it about?

Quality of life is a growing area of interest in dementia research and the evaluation of this complex concept has been progressively included as part of treating of people with Alzheimer's disease. We seek to evaluate the perspective of caregivers about the quality of life of people with young and late onset Alzheimer's disease.

The factors that drive the perceptions of caregivers about the quality of life of people with Alzheimer's disease may vary according to the age at onset.The study provides basic information of caregivers’ perspectives about the quality of life of people with Alzheimer's disease that could be used to create more effective interventions according to the age at onset.

Perspectives

I hope this article may boost the researches about quality of life in young onset Alzheimer's disease and also lead to the implementation of targeted interventions to improve the quality of life of people with Alzheimer's disease and caregivers.
