What is it about?
Breast milk vital for infant growth and development, however maternal environment is extremely vital in dictating the composition of milk. Previously, maternal stress has been linked to preterm birth and in this manuscript we discussed the impact of preterm birth on milk stress hormonal levels, particularly milk-borne cortisol and cortisone.
