Why is it important?

Few people realize the damage done at work by harboring grudges. Forgiveness is a way to manage difficult situations at work and potentially improve health and productivity. The costs of unforgiveness, such as sick days, sabotaging a co-worker's projects, etc., can be significant and can be dealt with in more productive ways.

Perspectives

We spend more time at work than we do anywhere else. Troubles with co-workers and supervisors are bound to occur. The question is, how will you respond? Forgiveness is a powerful and productive way to cope with many interpersonal stresses at work.
