Why is it important?

Identifying youth at risk for commercial sexual exploitation, as well as providing effective services, has been challenging in the past. Youth who have experienced abuse often present to CACs and receive multidisciplinary treatment and therefore is an ideal place to also provide services for you who have been exploited. This study helps CACs to better identify youth who may be at risk for CSEC so they can provide optimal care.
