Perspectives
As a feminist in my 70s I remember and have some nostalgia for the heady days of the early domestic violence agencies and initiatives. That nostalgia propelled this project on the history of Transition House in Cambridge. The research led me to question any clear line between social service and social change. This once radical agency is now largely government financed, but has always been about both social service and social change.
