What is it about?

This study reviews the academic literature on the relationship between gentrification, displacement and their connections to public investment in transit infrastructure. We argue that scholars have generally conflated gentrification and displacement or narrowly looked only at gentrification-induced displacement. We offer a clearer framework for understanding multiple forms of displacement.
