What is it about?

We used an assessment measuring research-identified nonacademic behaviors and skills students with disabilities need to be successful in employment and postsecondary education and compared scores from students with high GPAs and lower GPAs. We found, students with high GPAs did not necessarily possess the nonacademic skills needed to be successful in employment and education after graduation. Student GPA does not paint a full picture of the needed skills to succeed. Nonacademic skills are also important. This publication describes these skills and the findings in more detail.
