How an early Christian educator formulated teaching principles to formulate effective teaching methods. These principles and methods were effective then as now as means to deepen our faith and our church lives.

This article is important for three reasons: 1. It offers Christian educators sound faith principles from which effective teaching methods can flow. 2. It offers educators specific teaching strategies with which to teach any curricula. 3. It offers a way to appreciate the wealth of insights from the early church leaders.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a personal faith journey. Through the research, study and prayer over this article, I engaged in greater depth the riches of early Church leaders and the communion of saints.
