Why is it important?

The literature contains a variety of assessment tools for measuring the skills of individuals with autism or other developmental delays, but most lack adequate empirical evidence supporting their reliability and validity.

Perspectives

The ABLLS-R is a comprehensive skills assessment that is written in non-technical language so that it can be used by used parents and professionals. This article provides documentation that this assessment is able to produce reliable scores.

I hope this article makes it clear that all parents and professionals alike can use the ABLLS-R, get great results and start using it not only for school goals, but for activities in the home as well!
