What is it about?

Multiple programs to assist older adults in the aging process have been developed, but how do they fit into the larger picture? How can they be delivered to the community? Utilizing a unique government-university-community partnership the Office for the Study of Aging has been able to research, develop, deliver, and evaluate successful programs that have had a lasting impact on older adults throughout South Carolina.

Why is it important?

This work shows one model of a translation, dissemination, implementation pipeline that ensures research is able to quickly move from the academic/government institutions to the community it is seeking to serve.
