What is it about?

An exploration of different types of consensual non-monogamy - from the blurred edges of monogamy to polyamory and swinging - and some of the implications for relationship counselling, particularly for transactional analysis practitioners.

Why is it important?

It is important because multiple intimate relationships are becoming more common but still are still uncommon. This can make it difficult for relationship counselling therapists to be sufficiently skilled with these sorts of relationships. Particularly if the therapist has examined their own normative monogamy assumptions.
