What is it about?

This paper is a response to Caffo's (2011) article entitled "Through The Looking Glass: Instinctual and Cultural Influences on U.S. Workers' Views of Ethics and the Workplace". From a developmental/organizational transactional analysis perspective the author's frame of reference is outlined and the four aspects that arise from Caffo's article are explored.

Why is it important?

This is an important paper because it challenges the conflation of ethics with legality and raises issues of ethical considerations in the workplace.
