What is it about?

Safety belt usage improves the safety - save lives- of both drivers and passengers. Though lives are saved through the use of safety belt, not every one wears it . Thus, safety programs are conducted to improve safety belt usage. Among the programs, to increase safety belt usage, one can find additional safety belt enforcement. These programs are implemented/conducted and quantitative analysis of the impacts provided by the presence/non-presence of additional enforcement is needed. Then, this study focused on quantifying the impacts provided by the presence of additional safety belt enforcement on safety belt usage.

Through the understanding/quantification of the impacts provided by the presence/non-presence of additional safety belt enforcement, transportation/enforcement agencies in their decision-making processes for maintaining safety.

Perspectives

I really appreciate the efforts made by traffic enforcement agencies and their safety-enhancement programs. Risky behaviors such as driving-while-non-belted and others are improved through these programs. It is fascinating to see how much is contributed to safety every year. I enjoyed very much writing this article!
