What is it about?
The Static-99R is an actuarial scale commonly used to predict the recidivism risk of sex offenders. Recent versions of the Static-99R recidivism rates either overestimate risk or have large margins of error. We used logistic regression to derive alternative recidivism rates with lower margins of error for use with high-risk sex offenders.
