What is it about?
Which of the music type (positive, negative, or neutral) promote creativity? Well, it depends on the stimulants of creativity problem. Neutral music improves performance as the number of stimulants increase, whereas positive and negative musics enhance performance with fewer stimulation.

Why is it important?
Although previous studies have reported that positive mood is associated with enhanced creativity, contradictory resultsclaimed that negative modds could enhance creativity as well. In this kind of complex relationship, present study used a paradigm that includes music induced mood and cognitive stiulation for the first time.
Perspectives
The findings of the present study contribute to understanding the relationship between mood and creativity. Inducing mood with musical pieces would improve our understanding about mood and creativity.
