What is it about?
This study is based on a big data longitudinal follow ups, which is different from the previous small scale studies findings. The physical status and observation duration were carefully matched to avoid possible confounding effects.

Why is it important?
This study warrant the use of antipsychotics among elderly population is appropriate and reasonable. The real life is a lot of physicians prescribed antipsychotics to elderly with dementia under uncertain confidence. This study can afford evidence for them to use antipsychotics with less unreasonable fear.
Perspectives
The study should be tested in other countries or regions if possible.
