Social commerce is gaining more and more adoption. The platforms work well for some users, and some may find it difficult to avail, so what is the factors that impact the success of the social commerce? This paper examines a model and reveals those key factors. Note that the paper explores in the perspective of platform users.

Why is it important?

Everybody perceives that social commerce is an ongoing mega trend of doing business nowadays. Social media is also mighty platforms for small and medium enterprises to compete with large organizations. Surprisingly, there is insufficient frameworks or studies on what determines the success of the system. This study aims to propose a comprehensive framework and to share the results of the empirical investigation with academic researchers, business professionals, and other interested parties.
