Why is it important?
This paper is aimed at familiarising pathologists with the anatomy and histology of the nasal cavity of the cynomolgus monkey when evaluating inhalation studies, as well as acting as a guide for the sampling of the nasal cavity in this species. It also outlines and describes the more common background findings in the monkey nose and including those that may be confused with induced lesions
