What is it about?

Being a nurse practitioner or a designated women's healthcare provider is associated with slightly higher patient satisfaction than with physician providers or non-designated women's healthcare providers respectively. We show through structural equation modeling that this slight increase is almost entirely due to the patient perception that these providers are spending more time with them.
