What is it about?
The practical problems encountered in ultrasound imaging based diagnosis of diffuse liver diseases and solutions that CAD systems provide are disccused. This review paper summarizes the key findings and can provide researchers with a head-start and potential go forward directions. In this article, we review published studies and present the findings in clear and concise manner. In addition, we discuss directions for further improvement in CAD systems, especially in the areas of accuracy and objectiveness of diagnosis.
