What is it about?

We report our findings on workers attitudes and behaviors regarding a variety of environmental issues. In particular, we examine the attitudes and behaviors of unionized workers to see how they may differ from the non-union respondents. The results might surprise those whose image of workers comes only from the media.

Why is it important?

Overall, the results of our study suggest that there is great potential in America for the two largest social movements—labor and the environmental movement—to work together on a broad progressive platform that brings together working class and middle class activists to fight for a more just and sustainable future for all.
