What is it about?

Every 10 kcal/kg per day of energy that a baby receives is associated with a increased growth velocity of 1.7 g/kg per day and about 1 mm/week of head circumference growth. Growth over a week is dependent on energy and nutrient intake, as well as disease status, but not fluid status.
