What is it about?
This research focuses on gaining a better understanding of how a cluttered classroom can impact on the learning experiences and behaviour of children with cerebral visual impairment. As such, two classrooms at a special school, that had students with CVI in attendance, was decluttered for a period of two weeks. Teachers and teacher aides were asked to make observations of how the students functioned in the uncluttered space. Following the two weeks, interviews were conducted with the teachers and teacher aides to see if they believed there had been a different in the students between the cluttered and uncluttered classroom environment.
