What is it about?

Antimicrobial stewardship is an approach taken up by health systems world wide to combat increasing resistance to antibiotics. This paper reviews the ways in which information technology currently supports different strategies within antimicrobial stewardship and also identifies potential ways information technology can be used to support antimicrobial stewardship in the future.
