What is it about?
Evidence is finally suggested for POSDCORB. This theory--developed by Luther Gulick in 1937--was previously unproven. Using a mixed-methods approach, the framework of POSDCORB appears to endure. With a three part argument, the findings partially reconcile Classical and Neo-classical organization theory.

Why is it important?
These findings are important as, for decades, a clash in views may have caused uncertainty in public administration. Some intellectual concerns of the 1940's, up until the present, are succinctly discussed. A law, a construct and technological phenomena are assessed. Doing so yields empirical support for POSDCORB both as a whole and in parts.
