Why is it important?
The topic is important. Many U.S. citizens came to Canada for various reasons during the Vietnam War. Some stayed. Women were not subject to the draft but were in relationships with men who were.
Perspectives
The study does not look at the big picture, but it does have merit as a field work ethnography.
