What is it about?
When there is conflict in mission organizations concerning ministry strategies (not theological disagreements), there are several approaches to resolving the conflict. Those with power can use their power to impose their will on those without power. Alternatively, the two parties can seek to find a solution that responds to both of their concerns. This study looks at what real missionaries have experienced and how that has affected them and their ministry.

Why is it important?
Missionary conflict can stifle new ideas, demotivate young missionaries, and work against clear communication of the gospel. When missionaries are are forced to submit to mission leaders who are not concerned about other points of view, they are more likely to quit the mission organization
