Why is it important?
Each of us brings a truncated view of God and human health. When these limited perspectives are shared, we all approach a fuller view which magnifies the fullness of God, and His intentions for humanity.
Perspectives
The experience of practicing medicine in the US as well as in Latin America, West Africa, India and Middle East, and interacting with the global church has resonated with the scholarship that was accessed through studies in world religions and global theologies at Bethel Seminary to produce this reflection. The subject of the church's critical role in global health needs particular focus in the literature.
