Why is it important?

Until now, spirituality has not been considered in light of contemporary grief research, which is altering the previously established norms of grief research. Findings show that resilient grief responses tend to be consistent with secure images of God.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a tremendous pleasure as the content is very closely related to my daily work as a healthcare chaplain and seminary professor. I hope this article helps further the cause of developing nuanced understandings of spirituality, which plays an important role in how people make sense of the world, address existential questions, and imagine God.
