Why is it important?
In a resource stretched step up, it is important to know what will predict the outcome at presentation in patients with hanging. This will hopefully ensure better and judicious use of already scarce resources.
Perspectives
Working on this article was a learning experience. It was a pleasure working with the co-authors. Hanging is not a uncommon measure used for self harm. This paper tried to assess what could predict the outcome among these patients.
