Why is it important?

This study may help schools and districts with limited budgets decide the best type of whiteboard technology investment. Because traditional IWBs are expensive, districts with limited funds may consider the purchase of a mobile IWB (or slate) or a tablet with an app that emulates the IWB. The study also reinforces the importance of proper training of teachers on how to use these technologies.
