What is it about?

This article brings the concept of the agonistic democracy in practice. It analyzes how local governments can develop an appropriate and inclusive response to glocal urban conflict. The case study shows how the role of the media, the network of local government actors, and citizens play a vital role in escalating but also developing an inclusive response to a global conflict that is played out locally, hence to glocal conflict.
