What is it about?
The leadership of Pope Paul VI was crucial in directing the Second Vatican Council,. in opening up a proper Ostpolitik with Soviet Europe and in relating the Roman Catholic church to 'Liberation Theology'. His was a seminal role in defining the shape of the modern church.
