What is it about?
We have awful political leadership around the world that refuses to share responsibilities for outstanding global problems that arise from the environment and migration; besides that, in the US we have never dealt with our past of slavery and therefore without a history of accepting responsibility for our actions, it is hard to see that the US has a moral compass to offer or to follow. The call to responsible global conduct is harder to hear than ever.
