Why is it important?

This publication is important because normally CSR is viewed as a routine procedure but in this article citing a case study, I have argued that CSR should be treated as a compulsory aspect of acquisition of land for industries.

Perspectives

My perspective on CSR is that a company should also be given tax rebates if it could avoid the acquisition of fertile agricultural land to build up industries and takes up uncultivable land and help in the processes of resettlement and rehabilitation.
