Medical journals are going down the wrong path.

What is it about?

Last editorial after 3-4 years as editor. Why leaving? Medical journals seem to be moving in the wrong direction, "open-access" camouflaging an online deluge of journals whose pay-for-publication status may disguise a change in peer review? Meantime, "evidence-based medicine" seems to leave current opinion as much based on the views of the "high and mighty" as it ever was.
