Why is it important?
A lot of focus is given to the neurological investigations in the management of seizures. Ignoring underlying heart rhythm problems can lead to recurrence and inadequate relief of the symptoms. It is therefore very important to investigate & address heart rhythm problems in patients with seizures.
Perspectives
Epilepsy and Seizures should always be thoroughly investigated. A multi-disciplinary approach should be used to understand and manage the condition.
