Why is it important?

The results of this study support the conception that employees’ psychological contract breach results in frustration in the workplace. In addition, mediation analysis results reveal that psychological contract breach relates to employee dysfunctional behavior in the workplace and and partner family undermining.

Perspectives

This study suggests that that the fulfillment of promises made by employers is crucial for an effective employment relationship with employees. The negative consequences of PCB lead to the crossover model of partners’ emotional reactions and attitudes into the family domain.
