Effects of self-evaluation threat on schadenfreude

What is it about?

Do people with low self-esteem experience stronger schadenfreude toward strangers in a reality TV show when their self-evaluations are threatened? This study extends previous work by adding a control group to positive and negative feedback groups in order to investigate the effects of self-evaluation threat.
