What is it about?

Using Iran as a case study, the article shows how populism affects international relations and global order. It combines Laclau, Global IR and Global Historical Sociology for a framework to look at populism in IR.

It highlights how populism can influence international politics. In addition to populism being about the relationship between governments or leaders and the people, it is also about changing the values of global politics. In terms pf academic discipline, it shows how we can analyse populism in IR.
