In these days, when conscience protection is so important, understanding the classic Catholic teaching on cooperation with evil can help us to understand the limits to which we may cooperate with objectionable practices.

Why is it important?
IN an era when medical activities are increasingly intertwined, the question of how closely Catholics can be allied with objectionable practices invariably arises. A good working knowledge of these principles can permit Catholic to remain engaged in modern medicine and still witness to the Catholic faith.
