Use of a translucent refuge for Xenopus tropicalis with the aim of improving welfare

What is it about?

Improving welfare of a common laboratory model by exploiting their inability to see certain wavelengths. Translucent materials of certain colours may appear opaque to some frogs, allowing us to see them but without disturbing them.
