What is it about?

This paper revisites the work of Laing and Szasz, both important psychiatrists, whose ideas on mental health inspired many clinicians when they are alive and after to the next generations.

Why is it important?

Because both still deserve their work be re-thought, and so we be able to maintain the fire that they lit on how understand and treat the mentally ill.


My perspective is that this paper helps to experts and laypeople to see all the nuances that come around these two influential psychiatrists regarding to affinities but also differences in their respective views.
