What is it about?
This paper attempts to address the question of why we all feel the continual press of an absence of time to do all the things we need to do. It also discusses how psychologists have attempted to help with the problem and examines the connection between the current psychology of time and notions of fullfilment.

Why is it important?
The experience of not enough time has become the psychological malaise of the current era. While highly evident in the Western world, it is spreading rapidly as a consequence of neoliberalism and globalization--which are partially responsible for the condition.
Perspectives
I believe increasingly that neoliberal capitalism, as the currently dominant sociopolitical and economic system, is drammatically reshaping personhood, selfhood, human agency, morality, ethics, the nature of our relationships. This paper is demonstrates the importance of attending to this shift in any adequate psychological understanding.
