Why is it important?

Some ideas of the Russain revolution and of the Comintern are very popular in South Africa until this day. This popularity goes far beyond the ranks of the South African Communist Party and influences political perceptions and political developments in the country.

Perspectives

To me this is a very human story: it is about people, thier beliefs and the paths that they take, right or wrong. And of course it is a story of the allure of an ideal which never materialises but continues to attract new believers.
