What is it about?

The flexural strength of unidirectional thermoplastic CFRP depends on strain-rate, temperature and time based on cisco-elasticity of its matrix resin. The prediction method and its validation was introduced and clarified by experimental procedure.

Why is it important?

Our findings help us to design the flexural and compressive strength of thermoplastic CFRP which are influenced considerably by temperature, strain-rate and time lapse.

Perspectives

I hope this article is useful for people who are investigating several types of thermoplastic composites.
