What is it about?
Illustrative metaphors have trapped us into seeing women in a certain way i.e. unequal. Equality will not happen for women until we change the metaphors

Why is it important?
It is a unique view of metaphor use in organizations and between people that has served to continue the very issue of women's inequality. The more we talk of 'glass ceilings' and the more we see women in a certain way, the less equal they will be.
Perspectives
I consider that metaphorical language used in academic studies and expressed in organizations has led to a stagnation of women's inequality. Until we see that metaphors are killing women (femicide) by enforcing inequality then we will never have equality (justice)
