Economic crises affects the developing countries the most specifically the informal sector wage and employment who are more vulnerable to such crises.

Why is it important?
Empirically it was observed that informal employment in some developing countries increased while in few other it contracted owing to crises. Similar heterogeneous effects were obtained for informal wage rate. Why developing countries were unevenly affected. This paper explores causes behind such heterogeneity.
