Why is it important?

A new methodology of measuring status inconsistency as residual values in bi-variate regression models having income as dependent variable and education as a predictor. Four types of public action attitudes are proved to be under the significant impact of status inconsistency.

Perspectives

The whole analysis tests the status inconsistency hypothesis on the basis of a survey on public ideologies in Romania in a period of social movements during post-communist transition.
